Crunchy Top Sweet Potato Casserole

Crunchy Top Sweet Potato Casserole

2 (2lb 8oz) canned yams, drained
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 tsp. cinnamon

Beat above ingredients with mixer and pour into 9×13 greased pan. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Topping:

1 stick butter, melted
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
2 cups crushed corn flakes cereal

Stir topping ingredients together. Pour on top and Bake for 15 minutes more.
