The 2010 Forest River Georgetown
Walk on through with Dennis Sagert

Lazydays Walk Through Instructor
Years at Lazydays:
6+
Number of delivery walk throughs performed:
“Too many to count over the past 6 1/2 years. I’ve introduced a lot of people to their new RV dream and explained how it all works.”
While the livability of the Georgetown may appeal to the superior sex, the practicality of its features and advantages of the overall price point of the coach can be agreed upon by both husband and wife. Today, Lazydays Walk Through Instructor Dennis Sagert offers an exclusive tour of the Georgetown as though you are a proud new owner and are taking delivery of one of the most popular coaches in the industry.
SETTING THE MOOD
We’ve got a mid-ship entry, and a mid-ship LCD TV that you can watch from the couch, the dinette or the recliner. The fireplace is operated by remote control. You can make the flames flicker faster or brighter or adjust their size. It’s a pretty cool mood-making machine.
A TABLE FOR MORE THAN TWO
The dinette has a moveable table. There are release mechanisms right here at the base. You just release those and you can move the table anywhere you like. The table also has lift-up leaves that pull into place and make your table larger. There are two freestanding chairs and two folding chairs stored in the bedroom.
DRIVER COMPARTMENT
All the gauges are easy to reach and read. Same with your rear view monitor. Both your driver and copilot chairs are fully adjustable and swivel around and become seats in the living room area.
GALLEY
This galley has a convection oven with a 3-burner gas cooktop. The counter has an extender that snaps up and creates more counter space. When you’re done in the kitchen, the extender releases back into its storage position. The fridge here is a 4 door Dometic refrigerator, which is one of the most popular names in the industry. This one has an ice maker.
CONTROL PANEL
This is an important panel to be familiar with. It has your controls for your slideouts. It also has all your tank readings, so you can be aware of how much LP you have left, how much water you have left, and things like that. The Georgetown has tank heaters which keep your tanks warm in cold climates. So if it’s sub 32 degrees outside, you can turn on your tank heaters to keep your tanks from freezing.
BEDROOM
You’ve got a privacy door to your bedroom. And once you’re in, you’ve got a flat screen TV that operates like the one in your living room. You’ve got lots of storage, especially under the bed which flips up to reveal a space where you keep your extra dinette chairs and anything else you’d like. One of the most important things to know about your bedroom is that this is where your circuit breaker panels are located. It’s good to have this panel in your bedroom, because if you trip a circuit in the middle of the night... you don’t have far to go to switch it back on.
SPEND THE NIGHT AND USE EVERYTHING
Now it’s your turn to have all the fun. You get to stay on the Lazydays lot for the night in your new Georgetown and use everything. Open all the cabinets, push all the buttons, take a shower, use the bathroom, hook up your utility lines... use everything. You’re bound to have questions in the morning and we’re here to answer them.
THE GEORGETOWN VALUE
A great product at a great price. Just like Lazydays, Forest River is committed to taking great care of their customers.

Bought 2006 34 FR Georgetown last year with only 6700 miles on it. It has the three slides-our 12 and 14 year old boys love the room. Regularly camp in snow and no frozen pipes or leaks. Love visability/handling and Ford V10. Improve ride?

We have a 2003 Windsong class A made by Forest River. Major problems with leaking roof and slides. Slides and storage compartments do not line up as well. Other then that we are verry happy with the RV.

Had a Forest River Lexington. Big mistake. Major problems and the factory would never respond. Dealer had it for 3 months for leaking problems and it never got resolved. Finally drove to the factory unannounced and camped til they fixed.

beware of Forest River, enough said. Do your homework because they all have issues but it is the company culture that will get the warranty issues solved or NOT!

We have a 2002 Georgetown, and we love it. It has been one of the most trouble free motorhomes we have ever had. It is a joy to drive and very comfortable home to be in.

We have a 2008 Georgetown which we bought new, but, are very unhappy with the ac s. They are super noisy and can t hear the TV when they are running. Have had them checked by a RV specialist and told the Dometic are just loud. Also, not much cupboard space in the kitchen. We couldn t even find a place to put our dishes. We are looking to trade for a different RV.
